In a centrifuge  the centrifugal forces provide the means to separate the liquid and the sludge. In order to achieve a good separation (dry sludge and clear filtrate) it is necessary to add a poly-electrolyte. Apart from regular greasing and maintenance, this machine does not need a lot of surveillance.
