| The grinders consist of two sets of counter-rotating cutters which trap and chop solids into small particles. The cutters are stacked on two drive shafts and work in a self-cleaning rotation pattern. Ginders significantly reduce the formation of rag balls and ropes. Compared with screens grit and other solids put a great strain on grinders so that we recommend six-monthly inspection and regular replacement of bearings and cutter teeth. |
