The method of mixing chemistry, bubbles and wastewater produces large buoyant particles (floc) that rise quickly to the top of the separation tank. The waste particles form a "float" on top of the tank. Skimmer paddles move the float off into the attached sludge holding tank. The clean effluent flows into an integral holding tank.
