Chemical Feed Systems

Feeding systems are necessary for the addition of reagents  -solid, liquid, or gas-  to the waste stream at a controlled rate. Our experts can advise you on the desired state of each chemical to be fed, the particular physical and chemical characteristics of the chemical, maximum and minimum wastestream flowrates, and the reliability of feeding devices – in line with your requirements. The capacity of a chemical feed system is an important consideration for storage and feeding. Storage capcity designs must take into account the economy of quantity purchase versus the disadvantages of construction cost and chemical deterioration with time. Chemical feeders must accommodate minimum and maximum feeding rates required. Manually controlled feeders have a common range of 20 to 1, but this range may be increased to approximately 100 to 1 with dual control systems.
