Woltman meter are bulk water meters which come in different versions to suit specific applications. The WPH  type is used for metering and measuring flow rates with small fluctuation. The type WS is used for fluctuation flow. Only the turbine runs in the wet chamber so that the meter stays completely dry. The counter roller is encapsulated and can be rotated, and the meters are well-known for their operational longevity.
