Directions to RMI Head Office

In order to get to our Head Office, you can either click on the map to enlarge it, and you can print it or you can download a street map of Cologne for your Pocket PC (Microsoft Pocket-Street required).

Alternatively, you can use the following directions to reach us by road:

1.)    If you are travelling on the A3 from “Oberhausen”….
2.)    If you are travelling on the A4 from “Olpe”….

 Please use the exit “Köln-Mülheim” on the A3. At the first set of traffic lights you turn left and join the “Clevischer Ring” towards “Köln-Zentrum”. After approximately 3 km you turn right on to the “Mülheimer Brücke” in order to cross the river Rhine. At the other side of the bridge the road splits, and you need to follow the left track travelling towards “Zentrum”. You take the second turn on the right and follow the sign “Versorgungsamt”. At the earliest opportunity you perform a U-Turn and  pass through the subway. Use the lane to the very left in order to perform another U-Turn at the next set of traffic lights. You can now see our office building, a tower block with “AXA” written on top of it, on your left. After the U-Turn you pass the residents’ car park on your right and enter the second parking lot on the right. Please take care not to re-enter “Mülheimer Brücke” by mistake.

3.)    If you are approaching Cologne from the North on the A59 or the A1…

 Please join the A3 towards Frankfurt at junction “Kreuz Köln-Nord” and follow the above directions.

 4.)    If you are approaching Cologne from the West using the A4 from “Aachen” or the A1 from “Koblenz” or the A57 from “Venlo” / “Neuss”, please travel to the junction “Kreuz Köln-West” and follow the directions towards “Zoobrücke”. This is Cologne’s busiest bridge crossing the river Rhine, and you do not want to use it. 400 meters before you join the “Zoobrücke” there is a road sign asking you to get into the correct lane. You need to pick up the lane on the far right and exit to the right following the sign to “Niehl”. After the exit you go straight at the first set of traffic lights and follow the road until you come to the bank of the River Rhine. At the river you turn left and  in the distance you can see our  office block, showing “AXA” on top of the building. You drive past the office block and enter the second car park on the right. Please take care not to enter the “Mülheimer Brücke” by mistake.
